Community Safety & Crime Prevention Event – 25 June-Met Police

The Safer Neighbourhood Team of Hyde Park , Metropolitan Police, alongside our local partners, invites you to our upcoming Community Crime Prevention Event.

Location :Merchant Square W2 (Paddington Basin) between 11:00-15:00 hours 

Date: 25th of June 2026 

Your safety and peace of mind is our top priorities. This event is a valuable opportunity to meet your local policing team, get free security resources, and discuss how we can make our neighbourhood safer together.

Event Highlights

Free Crime Prevention Resources: Pick up free security materials and expert advice at our dedicated information table.

  Free Bike Marking & Security: Bring your bicycle to have it securely marked and registered by officers to deter theft.

  Open Discussion & Q&A: Speak directly with officers to share your local concerns and ask questions.

 VAWG Support & Awareness: Connect with officers providing dedicated information and resources on tackling Violence Against Women and Girls.

 Police Cadet Activities: Meet our young Police Cadets, who will be out in the area sharing safety leaflets and engaging with neighbours.

 Interactive Media: Watch crucial safety messages and local updates on our large information screen.
